Our Black Label Erie Yarn is 100% Shaniko wool.  Completely grown, processed and spun in the U.S.  A pleasure to work with that creates a lovely fabric with casual drape. Shaniko Wool is Merino/Rambouillet at 20.4 micron. It is completely traceable American branded wool. It is grown, sheared, scoured, and combed in the US.

One Skein provides 3.9 bales of hay for the flock.  (Our critters consume 14 bales of locally grown hay per day from October - May when our pastures are resting. Your support puts hay in the barn and employs both the Mitchell team and the local hay grower.)
