Next to fresh picked from the farm, we think you are hard pressed to find a better jam than one you have canned yourself!  Join us for an evening to learn how to process and make your own jam that you can enjoy all year!  In this class you will learn: 

• how to safely sterilize and prep materials 
• how to prepare fruits for jam
• how various pectin levels effects final results 
• how to process jars
• how to cool and check seals
• proper labeling and storing
• we will also discuss key considerations - recipe essentials, cleanliness is crucial, proper equipment, why we don't reuse lids
