It's the workshop you've been asking for since we started! Hands on training on with Cindy in a SMALL group setting right here on the farm. We have curated the best experience possible including:

  • Three days of one on one time with Cindy
  • Yarn packages at multiple levels 
  • 5 different colors will be taught and you'll take home your own plant dyed yarns!
  • Farm-to-table meals prepared by Mitchell Wool with our pasture raised proteins (vegetarian options available & dietary needs embraced)
  • Dinner at our local historical gem, the oldest continuously running restaurant in Michigan!
  • Cozy lodging at a local Air Bnb barndominiumn that boasts comfy accommodations with space for knitting in front of the fireplace!
  • A welcome package with textbook and goodies to excite you for your upcoming retreat!

Dinner at the barndominium prepared by Mitchell Wool followed by cozy knitting by the fire & noshes/ nightcaps

Friday February 2nd

Brekkie at the barndominium by local organic cafe Good Grounds

All day dyeing with Cindy- wear your comfy shoes! 

Farm tour!

Lunch by Mitchell Wool in the farm shop- Sherry's famous lamb bolognese & crusty sourdough bread

More fun in the shop with time available for shopping and using your retreat DISCOUNT

Depart early afternoon for home

TWO LODGING PACKAGE OPTIONS - Bunk: includes a space in a twin bunk room with occupancy of 6 people total. A great way to make lasting new friends!

Queen: a queen bed to yourself. If you like solace at night or you saw logs this is the room for you! 

CHOOSE BETWEEN TWO YARN PACKAGE OPTIONS - 

Two Skein: two skeins for each of the five colors presented at the workshop = 10 skeins total

Sweater plus two  = 18 skeins total. Choose one color to dye 10 skeins for a full sweater quantity (more can be added at a discount at the workshop if desired) plus two skeins for each of the 4 additional colors totaling 1 skeins. 

This is just a beginning! Plenty of yarn is available to add on at a special retreat discount if you fall in love with a color and want to dye more of that pot. 

THIS IS A RETREAT. THE PACKAGE IS INCLUSIVE OF THE LODGING WHICH IS ENCOURAGED to form connection with others. If you live local and want to join us but sleep at home that is terrific, however the price remains. We suggest blocking off time to focus on reconnecting with your making and devoting this time to your craft and self care.  

PAY IN FULL UPON ORDERING OR OPT TO PAY A 30% DEPOSIT WITH full BALANCE DUE ON JANUARY 15, 2024. Deposit is non refundable.
